Villa Ireneo. Is a sumptuous villa designed by the renowned architect Dario Varotari, a pupil of Veronese, during the second half of the 16th Century. The present owner of this majestic property is a descendent of the family that originally commissioned the villa. It stands in a dominant position, on summit of a hill surrounded by precious vineyards used for the production of prestigious wines. The square-shaped villa is characterized by 2 levels of loggias on all sides, decorated with frescoes painted by the villa's architect himself. Outside, the villa is surrounded by Italianate gardens, encircled by a circular fortified wall. On a lower level below the villa, a fenced area hides a small kidney-shaped pool, sun-beds and chairs where guests staying in this enchanted property can relax. Internally, all rooms are decorated with frescoes and furnished with impeccable taste and the best Venetian antiques. A 24-hole golf club and its restaurant (also mentioned into the Michelin guide) are located within walking distance from the villa, as well as the winery belonging to the owner of the villa, where wine tastings can be organised. Guests will be pampered by a caretaker and his wife. They live on the premises and provide 8 hours maid service per day, they prepare breakfast and, upon request, a lunch and/or dinner service.
